While not interesting to some, I will have multiple telephone numbers. There will be some for my Ideal Phone Setup, but there will be so much more. Each business will receive at least 1 telephone number. Also, there will be telephone service in my residence that is for the household, and not necessarily my private numbers. All of the numbers will serve a purpose and intended to make everything easier.
Remote employees will be required to have a SIP client installed on their smartphone. The employee is in charge of choosing their SIP client, but they should look for something that will allow them to receive calls, and make calls. When making a call from the SIP client, the business’s telephone number will show up. This means there is no direct line. In example, there is no direct line to the maintenance person for the realty company. The caller will have to call the office, and if in working hours, they will transfer the call to the maintenance person. After hours, the after hours receptionist will make a decision whether a call requires for them to be disturbed. A dripping faucet can be sent to the maintenance person’s voicemail, but a leaking pipe might warrant reaching them directly. If the maintenance person needs to call the tenant, and they use the SIP client, they will not display their cellular number. This will apply to all employees using a SIP client.
