Timeline

Even if I was to acquire a net windfall of $25,000,000 – things will not happen instantly. It will take time to do everything I would want to do, and this time will be important to note. This page will go into the timeline that I would have to consider doing.

Day 1

I will inform Social Security, DPA, and my apartment management office of the change. These programs requires that I provide a continuously up to date income if there are any major changes. A net income of $25,000,000 is definitely a change that would require that. This will all be done in the morning, and hopefully quickly. This will allow to then start on everything else.

I will take a bus to get the telephone number of the realty company that is trying to sell the 4 Story Building, and other locations close by. This will be essential that I acquire the building as quickly as possible, so this process must be started. Since there is no loan involved, there will be no need to worry about delays from approvals. The company sells, and I buy. Money will be sent as a wire transfer so the money electronically moves from one account to the other account.

Week 1

I will contact a fiduciary for my investment account. I will seek to invest in $5,000,000 for investments, and that should generate $37,500 gross, This will be more than enough, and will assure that I will always have money available to me. I will have 2 bank accounts. The first will be my normal checking account. This will have a maximum of $250,000 and when it drops below $25,000 – I will add $225,000 to the account. This will assure that I would always have a bank account that is supportive of my needs without the need to rush in wire transfers. Since FDIC only covers up to $250,000 – I will need a Swiss bank account.

Most wealthy people uses Swiss accounts to hide their money. I will use it to secure my money. I can’t have $3,500,000 in my primary checking account because if my bank goes bankrupt, I will loss a significant portion of that money, and FDIC will give me a paltry $250,000 for my troubles. This is not a risk I will like to take. Therefore any excess money will go to the Swiss account to protect the majority of my income. I will still pay capital gains taxes on my investments, and business.

I will also speak with an arbitrator to acquire to acquire some telephone numbers. The last 7 digits of the numbers will be the same, but the first 3 will be different. This will allow me to have an easy to remember home telephone number, voicemail number, fax number, forwarding number, and cellular number. During this time to the time I move in my 4 Story Building, the numbers will host to a company called Number Barn. They will provide an announcement only service which I will have same announcement. I will be willing to pay several of thousands of dollars for the numbers, but thankfully, I already have 2 of these numbers. If you wish to lean more, you can go to My Ideal Phone Setup.

During this time, I will seek to find a doctor that will insert an RFID tag in my right hand. Once I get my 4 Story Building, I will use that RFID tag as a key to enter my building.

Week 3

I would have acquired the buildings I would want, and will need to enforce a 30 day eviction notice with any tenants in the buildings now. The reason for this will be to do the renovation work, and work on what needs to be done to make the building meet my needs. The renovation work is essential for properly renting out the units. I will start work on 201e, 911e, and 1734-e. I will assume that I would only have 3 teams that can gut and renovate, and one construction crew. The crew will work on the 239-w property. This is the one with a vacant lot, and an apartment building for my realty employees will be constructed here.

Month 2

The units noted in week 3 will have been renovated. With that in mind, there will be 3 more buildings that would need to be worked on. 239-w will likely still being constructed, so this will have to be considered. With that in mind, I will work on 1705-e, 1735-e, and 1737-e. 1735-e currently has a business on the ground floor, but I feel it might be possible to renovate around them. This will be tricky, and will likely require more time. There will be one door for the upper floors of both 1735-e, and 1737-e. There is currently a business on the ground floor of 1705-e, and they will have to be evicted. This will eventually be where my pizza shoppe will be located.

I will start work on the 4 Story Building. The first thing that would need to happen is the building must be gutted completely, and brought down to the building’s skeleton. Any frames that have too many holes in them will be replaced. Any Knob and Tube wiring will be removed. Once gutting takes place, and architect can come in and draw up how the floor plans will work in each floor. The goal will be a convenience store on Floor 1, 2BR apartment on floor 2. Floors 3-4 will be my private residence. The roof will have solar panels, and an OTA (Over the Air) antenna – but this is all for later.

And assuming that I can drive, I should be able to have my driver’s license. I will be keeping an eye out on my preferred vehicle which will be a latest model Ford F-150. I could afford to buy a building in this time period, but a garage lease is very expensive, and there is no guarantee of safety for the automobile. Even though I have a license, I will rely on my friend to take me to the store, and will rely on buses for everything else.

Month 4

My 4 Story Building would have been renovated, and I will be able to move in. The second floor will be the realty office, and hopefully, the construction of 239-w will be complete. I will assume that the construction team would have worked as quickly as possible without cutting corners. There are 3 options when constructing a building. There is cheap, speed, and quality. You can pick 2 of them. I will choose speed and quality which means my apartment building will not be cheap. It is this reason that I would have not been able to acquire a realty company with just $10,000,000.

The next buildings that would be renovated will be 624c, 1614-h, and 1717-s. I am going to assume there are no one living in these buildings, and will therefore not have to evict anyone. This will be ideal as evicting can take time that I would rather not spend. One of these buildings is a 2BR house in the Mt. Washington neighborhood of the city. I have a friend that would want to live in Mt. Washington, and when this building is complete – I will offer it to her. Since it would be a house, she will have to pay for the water, and home internet is a requirement, but with the reduction of electricity (solar panels), and no gas line, this should be a small price to pay. Still, it will take a couple of months for this building to be gutted and renovated.

And now since I live in my 4 Story Building, I will report the change to PennDOT, and voter’s registration. These changes will allow me to also acquire my F-150 from a local Ford dealer. I will hope to be able to take a bus to the dealership, and drive home once it is paid for. Since I have the money, it will not make any sense to do an auto loan, and while I am sure “leasing” is an option, I will rather own my property. The vanity license plate will be ordered from PennDOT, and will likely go to my new residence. Once done, I will exchange the plates, and keep the new vanity plate.

I will also start the porting process of the phone numbers in Number Barn to where they need to go. This will take a few weeks since every number (except my toll-free number) will need to be moved around, and a terrestrial service provider is involved. With that said, and the fact that I will keep my 412 number and just moving it to my home line, I will still be able to receive calls on that number. Until the port of the 878 number takes effect, I will have to rely on a temporary number to make calls. With that in mind, I will likely not use my cellular phone as much as I usually do until the new number comes through.

Month 6

911-e, 3031-j, and 3253-f will be the last buildings that would need to be renovated. I will assume that my friend took possession of 624-c. I will assume that the employees will be acquired, and have moved into the apartment that I set up for them. The apartment building is a massive 3BR apartment, and maybe nicer than any home they will currently own. If they choose, they could move into the apartment, and rent their current property out, and likely make enough money to accommodate the $1,000 monthly rent. The agent will be important in this timeframe as the homes have to be shown once they become available which will make the agent busy. The maintenance person will not be so busy. You would figure a gut, and renovation will likely not have any problems. Still, the maintenance person, and realty agent will need to be able to accommodate the tenants that would need their help when that need comes.

Month 8

The last of the buildings would have been renovated. This was obviously a long and tedious process, however I am sure it will be worth the estimated $15,000,000 to do all of the work. In the meantime, my friend should hopefully enjoy living in 624-c, and the realty’s employees will have made their choice in regards to the renting of the apartment I will offer them. My phone numbers will have been setup months ago. I will continue to live life as I would hope to. I will go to the realty office when I am able to, and address any concerns. I will make myself responsible for acquiring the mail, and dropping off any mail. To keep things secured, I would have acquired a PO Box for mailings of checks, and other needs.

Year 1

I will hope to see profits from the convenience store, and pizza shoppe. I might have also considered having a foster child or 2. I don’t see me having a significant other as I will have to wonder if she is interested in me, or my money. I would have gone to an attorney to create a prenuptial agreement. This agreement will be scanned as a .pdf file, and located on my primary website. And while I could, I shouldn’t have to “spoil” that significant other. Even so, I don’t see myself getting married. If the children are interested, and I value their ethics and behavior, I will consider adoption if their parents are no longer in the picture. Since my personal residence is a 3BR apartment, I can easily take in 2 children.
